The Tarangire river is the life giving opportunity for both herbivores and carnivores and it is the best spot for the lions to hunt their prey as they search for water especially during the dry season.

Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its birds’ life and also known as the home of tree climbing lions. The park has an area of about 325 square kilometers whereby a third of the area is the land and the rest is the lake which makes Lake Manyara the best attraction. Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake that attracts a number of birds to the area.
The birds’ species that can be found in Lake Manyara includes both migratory birds and native birds species like the flamingos, pelicans, storks, herons, cranes, secretary birds, ground hornbills, ostriches and many more birds species. Your journey will take you past the Nabi Hill Gate, where you’ll register and enter Serengeti National Park, enjoying a brief lunch stop.
Before proceeding to the Central Serengeti, stop at Maasai Boma, a traditional Maasai village, where you will immerse yourself in their rich culture, learning about their customs, lifestyle, and unique way of life. There after proceed to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most significant paleoanthropological sites, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history of human evolution and the remarkable discoveries made at the site. Continue your game drive en-route to the Central Serengeti, where you may encounter a variety of wildlife, including big cats, elephants, and more. The park’s breathtaking scenery adds to the magic of your wildlife experience, making it just as memorable as the animals you’ll spot.
Later in the afternoon, check in at the camp, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.
You will have a breakfast at the camp, then continue with a full day game viewing in central Serengeti. The Serengeti, means endless plains in the local African language and watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon is an absolutely breathtaking view. The Serengeti also houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard).
Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals – The Impala. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti - known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.
It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. A picnic lunch will be served. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
Breakfast at the camp, then drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim, spend few minutes on the Rim to view the Crater from the top, descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater on World Heritage Site holding a permanent population of more than 30 000 animals.
As only very few of those migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. The Crater is also home to the rare black rhino almost extinct in Tanzania. With a bit of luck, you will see the 'Big Five' during one game drive. Late afternoon, ascend the Crater and drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight.
After enjoying your final breakfast at the lodge, your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight home. As you journey back, take a moment to reflect on the unforgettable landscapes, wildlife encounters, and warm hospitality that made your Tanzanian adventure truly special.
